Knowing when to speak and when to be quite.

Father God,
As writers we are sometimes caught between hard places. We interact with others of the faith and sometimes we don't always see eye to eye on certain issues concerning everyday life. It is you Lord that's called us to unity in the faith.
Lord help us to understand others rather then to always have to be understood. You have created each of us uniquely for Your purpose, for Your Glory. Division is not Your desire for us. We ask you for forgiveness for anything we have thought, said and done that has not been like you Lord.
Guide us, strengthen us, prepare our hearts to accept the uniqueness in others. Give us the discernment to respond to things that need addressing, as well as to be quite...until we know and understand an entire matter. It is you Lord that our writings and interactions with others should bring glory to your Holy name.
We thank you for giving us the blessing and gift to write. We pray that it honors you with each stroke we write. In Jesus' Amen.
