Father God,
Sometimes we believe that being alone means we are separated from others, that we are lacking affection and companionship from family, friends and acquaintances.
Sometimes our thinking and how we perceive being alone takes us to a state of melancholy, and even depression.
Father God, please help us to search our hearts and minds that we may recall what we have deposited into our spirit man from your word. We are not cast down, even when mother or father forsake us, You Lord, raise us up.
Father God, we know that no one can fill the need for companionship like only You can. Nothing or anyone can quench our thirst or longing to be accepted, loved and fulfilled - True happiness and contentment comes only from You.
Help us to appreciate and accept that you have placed others in our lives as help mates, confidants, and encouragers, not, to be mistaken for our "Everything".
Only You Lord, can fill the void that we sometimes feel even when we're in a crowded room with many other people around. It is our prayer that we find strength, solace and comfort in knowing, You are with us, even until the end of the world.
Lead us into your comforting arms, in Jesus' name. Amen.
