Walking In Your God Given Authority
Who do you know that doesn't want to be strong, able bodied and have the power to carry out whatever is needed to accomplish an endeavor. Yes, most of us do! However, there is a difference between strength and power verses authority.
For instance, a tractor trailer has the power to rule the highway. Because of its size and structure it can cause serious damage to other vehicles on the road if a collision happens.
However, let's look at the same monster of a machine in the case of a traffic stop. If a police officer stands in the road beckoning the trailer to stop using his hands and a small tiny whistle, that same trailer has to stop and obey the law. The officer's authority trumps rank.
Although the trailer has power and strength to dominate on the highway, it doesn't have the authority to keep moving and do whatever it pleases, it must stop and obey.
This is the same authority that has been given us, as children of the Most High. Just as God called things that were not as though they were, we have the same God given authority to do so, see Romans 4:17.
As believers, we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Yes, the enemy is a defeated foe, he has lost all power over the children of God, believers, in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Our weapons that wag war against the enemy are not fleshly (Carnal) but divine.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
We have the authority to destroy arguments and loft opinions raised up against us and the knowledge of God.
God said it, that settles it.
We are who God says we are. Our authoritative position as believers allows us to pull down strongholds and falsely claims against us and our positions as His children!
The spirit of fear has been demolished too. We now walk victoriously in Christ with all the inheritance that God has given us trough the passion and sacrifice of His Son, our Lord and Savior.
With this being said, let this reminder of who we are and who's we are burn deeply in our hearts and minds. We have authority, it has been given to us and we have the God given right to use it, in our lives, for the furtherance of the Gospel and to give a reason to any, who ask for the hope of our calling.
May we all come to the understanding of our God given authority, walk victoriously, call things into existence, shut down silly conversations that challenge God's knowledge and most importantly, let's start doing it now!
Blessings to all and always, Stay Encouraged!
