Note: This is part of Psalm 8 “God is mindful of man” Teaching Series: Creator God & His Mindfulness of Humanity including their Interpersonal Relationships. Meaning?
He works to restore their relationship with Him through Christ which inevitably and simultaneously includes working for unity, love & peace with one another (John 17:21). Being restored in the image of God as we were created through Christ includes relating to people in the way God requires us to. How can we say we love God who we cannot see if we hate our brother (another person) who we can see (1 John 4:20)
Introduction
Feeling small in your own eyes, unsure or insecure in regards to your ability to excel?
Well it’s time for a mindset change because the God who created you created you with the potential to excel for you have a calling (everyone does) which is declared ready to breakout and advance when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Even if you do not feel “small in your own eyes”, it is important to receive assurance from time to time by being reminded of God’s ability to give us supernatural strength and wisdom by his power to stay joyful and encouraged in a world that is full of discouragement and affliction.

Such a transparent and timely response, Cari. Sharing our vulnerabiities with others releases a power of the unknown, some of us don't realize we have until we release them. Deborah,
This short post is so beautiful and another confirmation of what God has been showing me in His Word.
Most of my life, "Mara" (bitter) was my first name and "Discouragement" my last name. I have felt like Naomi coming back to Bethlehem so many times. Dead or crushed dreams. My best efforts... dashed. Almost everything seemed hopeless. Still, Jesus was my anchor of hope even as a very young child who didn't know her right hand from her left.
Small. Unsure. Insecure. Yes, I've definitely been there! A gifted girl who got rejected time after time, and learned to see her gift as a curse rather than a blessing. Why can't I be like anyone else? Hiding my light so as to fit in. And, when showing it, even in supposedly "safe" environments, I got misunderstood too many times... Trying to prove my worth before men. And failing. Again.
I have died many times. I die a little every day. And yet I live. And the life I live... is not my life anymore. For I've been bought with a price. And God has called me precious, though in my nature, there is no beauty I can think of.
My calling... is to restore. To comfort the mourners in Zion. To show them God is a God of mercy. Of giver of second, third, zillionth opportunities. A long-suffering, most patient God who delights in forgiving His children who come back to His fold.
