"Look into his eyes" the carnival master says "Come see the soul of the broken They tell of shattered dreams One glance and a story is spoken
Look at the scars on his arms Pain attempting to cover up pain Cut to drown out the sound of madness When he thought he was going insane
Gaze at his cold dead heart It lies still inside of his chest The product of a deceitful life One who's sin has offered no rest
Look at the mind of the man How it lives for its selfish desire Keeping his thoughts on himself So he can think of nothing higher
Look at his book of sins It reads thick with transgressions Every one of them accounted for With empty pages for new sessions"
Suddenly the carnival master stops He turns and runs away from the crowd A heavy presence could be felt in the air If this silence could speak it would be loud
The crowd that's gathered round parts A man in a hooded cloak walks through He begins talking to the man in the cage No one could hear but his words were few
Tears began to flow from his eyes He stood in the cage just to take a knee The crowd began whispering to each other No one knowing what this might be
The cloaked man turns to the crowd His two scarred hands pull back his hood He points to the man in the cage He starts to speak like a teacher would
"Look into his eyes See the story of one who's been set free" Just then his eyes came alive "He now has the love the fathers given me
Look at the scars that are on his arms They tell of a past he tried to live alone He never will have this pain again Now that I have made him my home
Look at his heart in his chest Look at how it's been made alive Watch it beat in rhythm with mine My blood inside it will allow it to thrive
See the mind of the man How it fights against its selfish desire It never had had this power before Now it fights selfishness with holy fire
He turned to look at the book of transgressions "He has been forgiven of all of sin" A nail pierces the middle as it turns to ashes "Not one will ever be remembered again"
The bars from the cage shatter to pieces Jesus leads the man out by the hand What is free can no longer be caged Once the shepherd has found a lost lamb
