Week 4
Building A Relationship With God
I find this week a good time to reflect on what we have learned, especially with all that is happening in the world. Brother against brother, sister against sister. It is so important that we take a step back and remember that God wants us to be His light in this world. We learn to let his light shine by maintaining the blessings and teaching He has given us. We put this into action by living out His word toward our brothers and sisters. Our words and actions produce fruit, either good or bad.
The past three weeks I have thrown a lot on you. I have asked you to think about and put into action a fresh start. I have asked you to lay down old habits that hold you back and to put all that together to find yourself in synch with God and His will for you.
Galatians 5:22-26
22-But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23-Meekness, temperance, against such there is no law,
24-And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts,
25-If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26-Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
This week's assignment is simple. Start to incorporate the fruits of the Spirit with every encounter you have. If you see hate, pour out love. If you see fighting, be the peacemaker. Be gentle and kind toward one another and trust God in faith.
Reflect back on your past journaling and see how you have progressed in just a short amount of time. Take one moment, one encounter at a time and incorporate what you have learned to produce better results.
Spend time with God each day and journal about your encounters and reactions.
Be blessed and have an awesome week producing much fruit!

Questions and/or comments are welcomed. I will answer any question you have and pray for your needs.
Obedience is always better than sacrificing for what we want! Thank you for flowing in the Spirit of things, Jeannie!
Thank You!
Thank you for this timely study, I ask more of His fruit daily especially in this day and age! God bless Jeanie
Thanks Shira! I stood in the rain writing last week on my lunch break writing a totally different post. I sat down yeaterday and typed the entire thing but the whole time Fruit of the Spirit was eating at me! I had to be obedient and obey what God wanted and look what He did! Im excited! 😊
I missed church today, Jeannie. However, after reading this, I felt as if I was in Bible study. This read definitely gives me something to ponder and work on this upcoming week. Thanks for sharing!
